New Technology Brings Better Results

Land and building surveying specialists, Met Surveys has invested in the latest measurement and field data storage equipment to deliver even greater accuracy to clients.

One of the UK's top five survey companies in terms of resource and turnover, Met Surveys has purchased three Leica TCRA 1100 series Total stations to add to its armoury of measuring instruments. These enable measuring up to 300 metres and are ideal for mapping large or remote building elevations and areas of difficult access.

Integrated with lap top computers via radio modems and Met Surveys bespoke software, the company is now able to deliver highly accurate measured surveys in vastly improved time-scales, which in turn reduce project turnaround and costs for clients.

Four new hi-spec Dell Workstations and two new laptops have also been purchased at Met Surveys' head office as part of the continuing development of a state-of-the-art IT and measurement system.
