French Loop-The-Loop Over Met Surveys
British surveying expertise is being used to ensure a smooth ride for a new Ghost Train at the Parc Asterix theme park in France.
Land and buildings surveying specialist, Met Surveys, has been called in to help with the siting of the new scary ride at France's own answer to Disney, the Asterix Theme Park just North of Paris, which is based on the popular French comic book character.
The Wakefield based firm is developing something of an international reputation for land surveying theme parks. Earlier this year Met Surveys were commissioned to ensure the structure for a new 'Dark Ride' - similar to the famous 'time capsule' ride installed at the Jorvik Centre in York - was correctly set-out and positioned at a brand new theme park in Abu Dhabi. |

| The firm works nationally and internationally for public and private sector clients, having recently completed several engineering surveying contracts. Met Surveys teams undertook the land survey ahead of the design for Europe's largest retail park development in Port of Lisbon, Portugal, and is currently preparing a large geophysical surveying project in Zanzibar. |
