Met Surveys Middle East Pleasure Ride

British surveying expertise is being used to ensure a smooth ride for a new, multi-million pound theme park development in the Arab Emirates.

Land and buildings surveying specialists, Met Surveys, have flown out to help the local surveying team prepare a site at Kalifa Park in Abu Dhabi for the development of a new water park named after the son of the incumbent Sheik Sayeed.
The Wakefield based firm has been commissioned by lead consultants Peter Wade Associates, to position track for a 'Dark Ride' - similar to the famous 'time capsule' ride installed at the Jorvik Centre in York - by ensuring the ride rails fit the location of the halfen joints cast into the first floor slabs.
